MAKING THE RIGHT CHOICES
Helping students become emotionally strong and embrace who they are
Young adults in every school face struggles – from peer issues and bullying, to unsupportive family dynamics, mental health struggles and high academic stress. As a result, they compare themselves and seek acceptance. They struggle to know where
and how to fit in. They feel anxious, discouraged, and unsafe. Their focus is in all the wrong places – on outward acceptance versus inner approval, self-confidence, personal leadership, and well-being.
Combining powerful real-life stories with dynamic visual elements, artist and storyteller Susan Dayton helps teens embrace who they are and prioritize their success. She helps students identify their unique talents, find enthusiasm for their goals, and develop the skills to support them on this path. This includes finding the right friends and mentors as well as prioritizing one’s mental health in order to stay focused. As a result, students feel more empowered and are better equipped to succeed socially, emotionally, and in school.
